Prayer
We at Thursday’s Babies believe in the power of prayer. We believe that when we come together in agreement, standing on God’s Word, that we will see God move.
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” (Matthew 18:19)
In fact, this is exactly what Thursday’s Babies was birthed from … the desire to see women unite together in prayer, believing in faith in a mighty God.
We would love you to join us. The beauty of prayer is you can do it anytime, anywhere. And even though we may all live in different places, our prayers go up to the one true God, and He hears us.
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.” (1 John 5:14-15)
If you have a specific prayer request that you would like other women to stand with you on, as you stand in agreement with their prayer requests, please feel free to write in with it. Please include whether or not you would like this information sent out in the weekly newsletter.
Rest assured, that the requests are entered in the newsletter anonymously, with minimal details to protect privacy.
Praise
There are so many scriptures relating to praise, and praising God. The Psalms alone contain multiple references to praising God and remembering His goodness. Psalm 103:2 says, “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits”. And the Lord says in Psalm 50:23 “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me.”
